Totally saw some epic rooms done in this on 508 Restoration and Design and immediately fell in love. Too bad we will be renters while Cody lives his military dream for the next 18 years.
I think I'd forgo the wallpaper and just nail the wood directly to the wall. I saw a friend's house who had done something similar (but not with salvaged wood) but it was horizontal instead of vertical. I'm kind of digging the vertical.
